It is a legislative requirement that any employee of a licensed premises required to serve

 alcohol must have completed formal training in Proved Responsible Service of Alcohol.  Upon completion of training participants may become involved in a range of career pathways

including: Hotel service supervisor and co-ordinator of activities of hotel services an workers. Hospitality workers in the provision of services to patrons of hotels, bars, restaurants and similar establishments.                                     (ACFE Funded)

Participants must be 18 years of age.

THHGHS01B FOOD HANDLERS BASIC CERTIFICATE

This course is essential for staff and volunteers involved in the preparation, storage and service of food and beverage. Course covers the principals  of basic food safety and their

implementation in the workplace. Good food safety practices are an essential ingredient in the success of a food business. Food handlers need the skills and knowledge in food safety and food hygiene for the work that they do in the business. This nationally accredited training will instruct food handlers in food safety legislation and their role and responsibilities under a Food Safety Program.                                         (ACFE Funded)

HLTFA2A  FIRST AID LEVEL II—PROVIDE FIRST AID

 

Tutor: Carolyn Cullinan

This course will provide you with the knowledge, training and skills required to administer first aid to a victim of illness or injury until the arrival of professional medical help.  Participants in this course will learn how to respond effectively and appropriately in both emergency and day-to-day First Aid situations.  The First Aid Level II Certificate is valid for three (3) years.                                                                        (ACFE Funded)
