SKILLING UP -
To be eligible for a Government Funded Training place at Langwarrin Community Centre Inc. you must be an Australian citizen/resident or New Zealand citizen and “skilling up” to a higher level qualification than you already hold.
Those students over 20 years on 1st January on the year of enrolment must be "skilling up" to a higher level than they currently hold. Enrolees of all ages can commence or undertake up to two government funded courses per year, although they may only commence two government funded courses at the same level over their lifetime. If you are not eligible for a government subsidised place, please ask about our fee for service prices. The onus is on the applicant to provide accurate information at enrolment.

This course covers the skills and knowledge needed for basic food safety and is essential for staff and volunteers who are involved in the preparation, storage and service of food and beverage or in contact with food and food preparation surfaces in their workplace.
